We reached Rangdum around lunchtime from Padum. The lamas were sitting in the autumn sunshine in front of the main prayer hall of the monastery. The Head Lama of Rangdum seemed to be in some pain and was massaging his knees with some ointment. As soon as I reached him he asked me if I had any medicines for pain. Fortunately, I was carrying some pain killers in my daypack so I gave him some tablets asking him to have them after a meal. He was very pleased with this.
