The Langtang Valley Trek November 24th to December 2nd 2013 ex Kathmandu Amongst the three major trekking areas in Nepal, namely, Everest, Annapurna and Langtang, the Langtang valley is the most under trekked. Most of the big name peaks are in the Everest and Annapurna regions, so Langtang has always come third when selecting a trekking destination. In many ways this is real pity because Langtang offers pristine forests, rich bird life, monastic culture and above all some spectacular mountain views of the Langtang Himal topped by the shapely Langtang Lirung. COSTS The cost of the trek is Rs 40,000 for SAARC citizens and USD 900 for foreigners. Exclusions apply. Please do e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to get a detailed trek pdf.
The Gokyo Lakes and Rhenjo La Pass Everest Region April 13th to 25th 2014 ex Kathmandu The trek follows the spectacular Gokyo valley with its six surreal lakes and covers the dream viewpoint of Gokyo Ri with views even better than Kala Pattar! From the high point Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen amongst a host of other peaks. The trek crosses the Rhenjo La pass and returns to Namche Bazar by the seldom visited Bhote valley! COSTS The costs of this trek is Rs 50,000/- for SAARC citizens and USD 1100 /- for foreigners. Air fares not included and fooding at lodges en route to be paid on actual basis. Exclusions apply.
